Client Brief

Recreate a summer beach scene for our back-to-school TV campaign with the closest coastline 500km away and a budget that does not allow for any travel.

Our Response

This beach themed TVC is a testament to the power of good location scouting, a resourceful art department and the imaginations of a creative team that dared to bring the beach to an inland city with not a single wave in sight. The result is a back-to-school summer campaign that met the client’s brief and combined two intrinsically South African realities – sunshine and stationery.
